TECHNICAL INFO

The majority of older photos are 35 mm colour transparencies on Fuji Velvia using a Nikon F4 system and scanned using a Nikon Super Coolscan 5000. This gives a maximum non-interpolated image size in the region of 22 million pixels. More recent photos (including Iceland images) are digital captures using a Nikon D200.

FUTURE PROJECTS

Expanding the core Italian Apennine mountains collection with images from the Appennino Umbro-Marchigiano and from the mountains in the province of Reggio Emilia.
Planned trips further afield include the volcanic islands of the Azores and Cape Verde.
Expanding the "floating images" and "textures" sections.
